Dear New Afrikan Patriots,

I was admonished by a great visionary many years ago to "do the work," be about the business of nation building. I am charged today by the spirit of Dr. Obadele, our great revolutionary to continue on. Distributing this vital information to the nation is an outreach from the ancestors showing us the way to nationhood.

Understand clearly our nation is called THE REPUBLIC OF NEW AFRICA (RNA) and exists within the country called the United States of America. The 14th Amendment declared that we Africans had the right to self-determination, but were never given the opportunity to declare this right. (Read all of the articles in the 13th and 14th Amendments to the Constitution.) We signed our Declaration of Independence on March 31, 1968 by one hundred signatures  that constituted our founding.

The first Nation Day celebration was held at New Bethel Church in Detroit Michigan on March 29, 1969. On that day the RNA was targeted in a bloody attack on the church as our people had assembled for the 1st Nation Day Celebration.

Comprehending the foundations of the black nation is necessary to introduce the fact of its existence to generations of new Afrikans who may not even know we have been struggling to free the land for our independence. In succeeding generations, we have struggled to establish our right to exist. On August 18, 1971 we successfully defended the land in Jackson, Mississippi.

It is on my sacred promise to Dr. Obadele and my honor that I follow orders and carry out the wishes of the mandate entrusted in me by our second president and founding father, Dr. Imari Abubakari Obadele. Dr. Obadele himself entrusted the copyright to this book to me, with the understanding that I would use it to do my duty as a soldier to defend and uphold the vitally important Code of Umoja.

Be empowered, ignited, encouraged and inspired by this  book. Rise up New Afrikans and claim your destiny and rights! Help build an independent, sovereign Black Nation. The best foundation for such a mighty endeavor is in your hands.
